During my childhood and early 20s I felt a bit “different” than many of my peers. Not in a cool, super hero way, but in a deep-feeler-sensitive-soul-creative-mess kind of way.

I went stargazing with my friends often, laying on the hood or roof of someone’s truck or car or on a wood pallet in a yard in upstate NY. I didn’t know how to find Orion’s belt, but under the stars, the world made sense to me. ⁣

I’d like to say I originally found astrology itself in a cool way, but the truth is, I found it in the pages of Cosmopolitan Magazine in the back alley of a CVS when I was 13.⁣ I remember begging our parents for $10 to buy gummy worms and the newest edition of Cosmo. When it was my turn to read it, I’d flip to the back and share our horoscopes for the week.⁣ Around the time I turned 21 I became obsessed with astrology and that’s when I booked my first proper Natal Chart Reading with an astrologer.

That reading felt like a big exhale to me. Astrology felt like a permission slip to be who I truly was. Most of my life, I was told who I was was wrong. Through further studying my chart, I learned that being sensitive and creative wasn’t a curse- it was my super power.

I also discovered routines and habits through my natal chart to help me harness my deep-feeler-sensitive-soul-creative-mess and turn it into an aligned, empowered and motivated life. And a grounded one, at that.

Once I remembered and reclaimed who I was and why I came to Earth for this go-around, I became a Board Certified Psychospiritual Life Coach working with women 1:1 and in groups. I also did a yoga teacher training and began teaching yoga. I left behind a brief career in journalism and let my heart lead the way. I also found partnership, got married, started a family and purchased a home. All things I didn’t see possible before.

From 2018-2020 I started making content about what I was learning on TikTok. People asked me to cast their charts and in 2022 I began offering them as a professional astrologer, going on to receive a Professional Astrologer Certification in 2025 with Rebecca Gordon Astrology.

When I took maternity leave in 2024, at the start of my Saturn Return and Nodal Reversal, (Oh, and my progressed moon was also in Scorpio, I may add) I had an epiphany. I could either keep practicing astrology in private, in the dark, with my coaching clients and friends; OR I could bring my practice out in the world in a big, bold way. I could be courageous enough to know that not everyone would like the way I read or my style. I could be humble enough to know that as a child of the stars, I still have and will always have much more to learn. And, I could be kind enough to share the gift of a practice that truly changed my life, to those who need it most.
